Hey Wowfood, once again, all replies are welcome. I know for a fact there are a lot of Xbox fanboys out there, but I still find the PS3 ones take things too far.

I was in live stream yesterday actually, with a PS3 user streaming MAG. I asked the question — what console has been the most important to gaming? And all either replied with PS1, PS2 or PS3.

I asked the same question in an Xbox stream, and everyone said the NES or Attari 2600. Which are definitely correct answers.

Not saying Sony didn’t make the most “important” console, but I think any expert in the field will say the NES made gaming what it is today.

Maybe Xbox users are more inclined to embrace gaming’s history, seeing as the majority of them were at one point or another, born when video games just became popular and more than just a fad?

I can’t answer that, but I do know that when asked certain questions, they will always take the pro PS3 route. Which console do I feel is superior?

Depends on what criteria we are basing it on. I will say though, that right now, I am undecided.

I think your argument against Sony fanboys work in both directions. I will admit I’m a Sony fanboy, not the lame “i’m better than you” type, but the one who knows all the specs, has both consoles etc, and honestly i do feel that the ps3 is superior.

The point is, If you were to have done the reverse and insulted the 360, you would have had the exact same fanboy responses, both groups are as bad as each other.
