If the building is dilapidated, it's because the city wouldn't let the owner fix it. Cafe Cleo is part of our heritage and still a rich part of our underground culture, especially on the second floor. An office tower with trendoid pricey stores in the heart of the Red Light district and on the Main, now that would be a quite yucky eyesore. One person’s yuck is another’s treasure. If the building is dilapidated, it’s because the city wouldn’t let the owner fix it. Cafe Cleo is part of our heritage and still a rich part of our underground culture, especially on the second floor.
